Howe Military School Parent's Association Fundraising Programs 

 

Howe Parents' Association needs silent Auction items donated

 

The Howe Parents’ Association would be happy to receive non-perishable, high quality items (i.e. sports tickets, gift certificates for goods or services, fine jewelry, art, etc.) to be auctioned off during the silent/live auction on February 9, 2008.  Items must be valued at $20 or more.

Purchase Parents' Association Souvenirs to help fund "wish list" items that the school is in need of! 

Howe Military School Parents Association has found a new way to raise funds AND help the environment!!!

“Cartridges for Kids” is a program for recycling used ink & toner cartridges and cell phones. Our school can earn anywhere from .50 up to $12.00 per cartridge or cell phone!!

This program is easy to participate in and is 100% profit for the school!  Cartridges for Kids pays for all the shipping and parents can ship the cartridges from any place!!

 

 

A complete list of all cartridges and cell phones that can be sent for recycling is available at www.cartridgesforkids.com  or request a copy from the Development Office.

RECYCLING INK CARTRIDGES
Also earning cash for parent organizations' efforts to enrich student experiences is an ink cartridge
recycling program. The Staples program pays $3 for each cartridge. Schools can accept empty InkJet or
toner cartridges, as well as laser toner cartridges. Laser toner cartridges must be boxed; use the box from
the replacement toner cartridge. Color or black and white, any brand — recycling these cartridges earns
the school $3 in cash each!

These are all fundraising programs that the Parents’ Association participates in. The websites offer additional information and programs for parents to participate in. New ways to earn money or points is always occurring. Parents should keep checking the site for ways to earn more money.

General Mills Box Top Fundraiser

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION
Products from the General Mills Company have a "Boxtops for Education" label on them. It's on top of
boxes, and on labels for other packaging. No matter what size the product package, that label is worth 10
cents, cash. Twice a year General Mills disburses cash to the organization submitting the boxtop
emblems.
