Faculty: over 32; more than 30 percent of our faculty have Master's or higher degrees.

College enrollment:  100% of the 2006 graduating class either went on to further their military skills or enrolled at a college or university.

Student life: Howe uses JROTC guidelines to ensure a rigorous curriculum and strong community, where leadership skills and personal responsibility can develop. Students play sports, participate in activities and work their way through the ranks of the Cadet Corps, taking on greater responsibilities with each step. They also attend chapel four evenings a week and a full worship service on Sundays.

A Christian School, Howe maintains its historic affiliation with the Episcopal Church but admits students of all faiths.

Mission:  The mission of Howe Military School is to prepare young men and women for advanced education while developing the individual character required for success in any endeavor.  We accomplish this mission through a three-pronged approach to education: Spiritual, Intellectual and Physical, with the goal of the attainment of a clean mind in a sound body.

The talented faculty and staff of Howe Military School are committed to providing a structured environment in which learning can and does occur; and with the support of parents, alumni, friends, and the dedicated effort of the students themselves, to produce the leaders of the next generation.

The foundation of our mission is our mottos:

"FIDES ET HONOR" (Faith and Honor), and

"ECCLESIAE ET PATRIAE" (Church and Country)

Top-notch technology: Across the curriculum, technology is part of the way students learn. Classrooms and computer labs feature monitored Internet access, state-of-the-art software, email and access to the school’s local network. All high school students are required to lease a computer for use in their barracks room.

Medical care: Medical care is provided by the school infirmary, which is staffed by a registered nurse during the day and advanced EMT’s at night. The infirmary is overseen by a local physician.

Accreditation: Howe Military School is academically accredited by the State of Indiana, North Central Association (NCA) and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
