Introducing
the Annual Fund
What is the Annual Fund? - The Annual Fund is the yearly fundraising drive whose proceeds are used to supplement the school's operating budget. For the majority of schools, tuition and fees only cover part of the actual cost of educating a student. The Annual Fund helps make up the difference between revenue and expenses.
Can I make a pledge now and make payments toward the pledge? - Definitely! This year's Annual Fund ends June 30, 2008. You may make one or more payments toward a pledge. An example would be: four payments of $125.00 before June 30 would place you in the Honor Guard Club.
What is the difference between a restricted and an unrestricted donation? - Unrestricted gifts are directed by the superintendent and the Board of Trustees to Howe's most critical budget needs. A restricted gift is directed by the donor to the department or budget area of the school where the donor has the greatest interest.
