In the early morning hours of Sunday 29 April, four cadets completed the Cadet Challenge physical training test and in so doing successfully completed a training program that lasted for more than four weeks. The Raider program compliments both the school and the JROTC program by promoting discipline, esprit de corps, self less ness and leadership. The program is open to all cadets from the 8th- 12th grades that are on PAR, who have good conduct, and have a desire to go the extra mile. A raider candidate must successfully complete a training program in which includes physical training, adventure training and assorted projects.  Candidates attend all weekly meetings, march as a group to second mess, accomplish all tasks with a Raider Buddy and successfully complete the Cadet Challenge PT test. This semesters Raider candidates departed campus at 1300 28 April and road marched to summer camp where they completed the “zip line’, low ropes course, team building exercises and constructed a single rope bridge across the lagoon. At 1130 28 April the group departed campus and walked back to campus where they under went the cadet challenge course.  Upon completion of the physical fitness test the group slept in the academic building until 0700 29 April when they returned to their barracks. The new Raiders area Wicks, Englund, Beaulieu and McLaren. Cadets Judge, Bloom and Tipper, who are already Raiders, accompanied the candidates through the whole training period.
