Bunji Run

Saturday afternoon 24 February the Army National Guard unit form Angola, Indiana brought a “Bunji run” apparatus to our campus. The device is an inflatable contraption that is 45 feet long and has two lanes. The participant receives a safety briefing and then wears a harness which is connected to a bunji rope. The cadet then runs as far down the lane as she\he can and attempts to place a bean bag on a Velcro strip located at the far end of the run. When the cadet has reached his\her farthest point, the bunji rope pulls the participant back to the initial point. All of the companies participated as well as 35 high school students from through out north eastern Indiana who were on a tour of the campus. These students were on a religious retreat associated with The Brethren Church and had requested a tour of the campus. We appreciate Specials Houser for coordinating the event which lasted from 1400-1600 Saturday in the Lower School gym.
