Mrs. Michelle Harmon has joined Howe as the ESL Director/Master. Mrs. Harmon has designed and implemented an ESL program for international students. She teaches ESL Reading, ESL English, and will offer ESL U.S. History, when needed. Prior to coming to Howe Military School, Michelle taught English and ESL English at LaLumiere School in LaPorte, IN.  

Mrs. Harmon grew up in Wanatah, IN and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the nearby Valparaiso University. Mrs. Harmon is also an Indiana state certified teacher and taught at a few different public schools before working at LaLumiere.  Mrs. Harmon lives in Howe with her three daughters.
