Leanne came to Howe Military School in February 1989 after receiving a BS degree in Elementary Teaching (1988) and working in the public school system.

She began teaching 6th grade (all subjects) for 3years and later when Howe Military School departmentalized the lower school, she taught math for 6 years. Leanne has served as the athletic director and is currently the Dean of Students. Leanne has coached girls’ basketball, girls’ softball, 8th grade boys’ basketball, lower school golf, and tennis She has also coached cheerleading at various times within the past 15 years.  Leanne has spent 13 years working for Howe Military Schools’ Summer Camp as a lifeguard and as the Assistant Water Front Director.
