Major Karl Vaughn is a 1977 graduate of Howe Military School. After a commendable and distinguished career with Wells Fargo as a Site Supervisor in the Chicago area, Major Vaughn returned to Howe Military School as a TAC (Teacher, Adviser, Counselor) Officer.  He served as Commandant at Howe Military School's  Summer Camp for several years and subsequently was promoted to Director of Activities and Transportation.

Major Vaughn is a member of Saint Marks Parish, the LaGrange County Sheriff's Reserve, Lima-Brighton Youth League and recently has been recognized by the Howe Military School Alumni with a special recognition award for his outstanding service to the school.

Major Vaughn lives in Howe with his two children, Karl Junior and Crystal.
